![]() July 10-August 1, 2008 During the summer, the University of Dayton offers a three-week intensive English program for those students considering study in an American university. In the morning, students will study grammar and reading and writing. Following these fundamental courses, students will participate in a cooperative learning project which will teach them skills to help them in the American university classroom such as:
Additional activities Evening and weekend activities for all participants may include visits to the Dayton Art Institute, a tour of the Air Force Museum, shopping trip to the Dayton Mall, and an American-style barbeque. Program costs $1000 (includes morning and afternoon tuition, additional activities and airport pickup) Program housing Students may be housed on the University of Dayton campus in residence halls. Stuart Complex*: Single Occupancy (as space permits) $735* Double Occupancy (2 per room) $490* *Limited number of air-conditioned rooms for students with documented medical need. Students will not be placed in on-campus housing until they have completed the application process (paid the $260 confirmation deposit and application fee; submitted a bank statement and letter of support showing sufficient funds to pay for the summer intersession).
